Realme announced their new GT 2 series flagship smartphone “Realme GT 2 Pro” at their “Innovation Forward” special event. And after montMeanwhile, GT 2 Pro has three innovative features a 150-degree ultra-wide camera, a bio-polymer-based rear cover, and cutting-edge communication signal technology. And here, we will be looking into more details.
Realme GT 2 Pro Overview:
Design
What is the newly added feature of Realme GT 2 Pro?
Realme’s a newly added design that has much to offer. Moreover, Realme has collaborated with famous Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa which features a simple design inspired by paper. Therefore, it will become the world’s first smartphone constructed from bio-based materials.
According to the press release, “realme’s revolutionary box design has reduced the overall plastic ratio from 21.7 percent in the previous generation to 0.3 percent in the current model.”
Moreover, the bio-polymer substance is environmentally friendly that contributes to global warming. In the meantime, the GT 2 Pro’s rear panel will be composed of fallen leaves and paper pulp.
150-degree ultra-wide-lenses camera
The GT 2 Pro will feature a 150-degree ultra-wide camera, which increases the phone’s field of view by 278 percent over the primary camera by 84 percent.
Moreover, landscape photography comes with ultra-wide-angle lenses that offer the best field of view (FOV). It allows capturing a broad perspective. Likewise, it also introduces an in-built fisheye mode that produces strong visual distortion and an ultra-long depth of field effect.
Connectivity Innovation
It includes Antenna Array Matrix System, which combines three technologies: HyperSmart Antenna Switching, a Wi-Fi booster, and 360-degree near-field communication (NFC) technology.
With 21 wrap-around antennas, the innovative antenna switching technology covers all sides/directions of the phone while keeping the same signal strength. Moreover, the new switching mechanism will assess the signal strength of each antenna and switch to the one with the strongest signal.
Moreover, it also has a symmetrical Wi-Fi antenna that ensures signal strength and even distribution throughout the phone.
In addition, the top two cellular antennas of the realme GT 2 Pro have been merged with an NFC signal transceiver function, boosting the sensing area by 500%.
According to the company, “The entire upper section of the GT 2 Pro detects NFC signals in both directions, making it easier to utilize NFC for swiping cards or cellphones”.
Realme GT 2 Pro Available Date (Expected)
The GT 2 Pro will probably launch in the first quarter of 2022. Meanwhile, it is projected to cost upwards of USD 800. In the meantime that this is the company’s first genuine flagship smartphone.
