The wait for Nepal’s first 12th Generation Intel laptop has ended with Ripple’s announcement of the Ripple Nova and Nova Pro. Ripple has proceeded forward with the launch of its new Nova series laptops, making them the first firm to release the laptops with Intel’s 12th Generation processors. We’ll take a deeper look at Ripple Nova Pro in this post.
Ripple Nova Pro Overview:
The Ripple Nova Pro is a 15.6-inch QHD gaming laptop. Its 165Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution ensure that the display quality is unquestionably excellent. Similarly, the new Nova Pro, which features the all-new Intel 12th generation 12700H processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics, is sure to raise the bar for gaming laptops. Meanwhile, the QHD display, vibrant color, and full-size RGB keypad make it a credible threat to its rivals. Design and Display
The design of the Ripple Nova Pro is remarkably similar to that of the Ripple Nova. It has an aluminum alloy exterior with a plastic chassis underneath. The device is 19.9mm thick and weighs 1.9 kilograms. Similarly, it has a full-size RGB backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad.
However, Ripple Nova Pro has a better display than Ripple Nova. It flaunts a 15.6″ QHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Similarly, it has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Moreover, it also has a 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. Likewise, these bezels are comparable to those on the Nova with the minimal facet and prime bezels. Meanwhile, the thin bezel enhances the immersive aspect of the screen and smoothens the playback.
Performance and Memory
The laptop is powered by a 12th generation Intel H-series processor. As a result, you’ll get an Intel Core i7-12700H CPU-enabled Ripple Nova Pro. Likewise, the CPU has six performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and twenty threads. Moreover, the CPU is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU with a total graphics power of 140W.
Furthermore, there are two SO-DIMM RAM slots and two M.2 SSD slots. Similarly, the Nova Pro entry-level model comes with 8GB of DDR5 4800MHz RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. In the meantime, you can upgrade to a 516GB or 1TB SSD. However, Nova Pro does not allow you to upgrade the RAM.

The laptop is powered by a 62.32Wh battery and supports a 180W adaptor. Similarly, it comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and has 2W speakers, an HD webcam, and an IR webcam. Furthermore, it contains two USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port, one USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader slot, an audio out port, a mic-in port, and an RJ45 port for input/output. In addition, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (M.22230 slot) are available on the Nova Pro for wireless connectivity.

Ripple Nova Pro Price and Availability
The Intel Core i7-12700H, 8/256GB variant of the Ripple Nova Pro, costs NPR 192,000. However, you can get Nova Pro for NPR 187,000 as an early bird discount. You can also upgrade the laptop’s storage to 512GB/1TB for an additional cost, depending on your requirements. However, you cannot upgrade the RAM in Nove Pro. In the meantime, Nova is available at Ripple authorized stores and Hukut.
