With currently just under 11.5k reported deaths worldwide and more than 340k confirmed cases, COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in a ton of countries right now. In the midst of this fragile situation, the founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, through his two main foundations, has shared a digital handbook containing a lot of accurate and proven facts, findings and recent discoveries about the Corona virus.
It includes important learnings and information from doctors in China, which makes this handbook all the more interesting. These doctors were in the frontline of fighting COVID-19 from its very start. So needless to say, this handbook is surely a must-have for everyone in Corona affected nations. Following the recent discoveries made by Chinese doctors and medical professionals, China has been able to successfully contain the spread of the virus within their country. The Jack Ma foundation hopes this handbook will be helpful to all medical professionals worldwide.

Medical Supplies on the Way:
What’s more, the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation has also announced plans to donate much-needed medical supplies to 10 more countries in Asia to help the global fight against COVID-19 including Nepal. This includes other high-risk countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka as well.
These medical supplies total to 1.8 million protective masks, 210,000 COVID-19 test kits, 36,000 pieces of protective clothing, as well as other essential medical equipment like ventilators and forehead thermometers.
With the lives of many slowly turning normal again, the worst of the pandemic seems to have passed in China, the epicenter of the outbreak. That being said, many countries like Italy, Iraq, South Korea, etc are still heavily affected. Mass quarantines and lack of proper health facilities have upset the everyday lives of millions. In the middle of such a crisis, we can only hope for the best. And for the love of God, ‘quarantine’ means stay shut in your homes, people!!!
