Built & Display
Similar to the rest of the Note 12 lineup, it has the same design sporting flat frames with no curved elsewhere but is rounded in corners. A slight change in the back for the rectangular camera bump, where Round LED Flash is embedded to the top.
For Display, it fluents a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. And has an FHD+ screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and a side placement for the fingerprint scanner although being OLED Display which will cost lesser.

Performance
The major change in Speed Edition is its processor from the other note 12 lineup. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G, which is based on a 6nm process and brings a three-tier core architecture with 1x Cortex-A78 Prime (@2.4GHz), 3x Cortex-A78 Performance (@2.2GHz), and 4x Cortex-A55 cores (@1.9GHz).
Then is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Redmi has placed software that they have used for the first time, MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Camera & Battery
For Optical features, Redmi has included a triple camera setup. A 108MP primary sensor with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. Which is accompanied by a 16MP selfie camera.
Although it doesn’t contain all the benefits from its lineup it has a decent segment for camera features. Meaning it doesn’t consist of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W charging via the Type-C port. While also including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 networks for connectivity.

Final thoughts
Similar design with little change in the back camera and a side placement for the fingerprint scanner although being OLED Display which will cost lesser. It has a different processor thought which is very popular in mid-range smartphones, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G while performing better than its lineups.
Along with that software is also changed from Android 12-based MIUI 13 to Android 13-based MIUI 14. Although it doesn’t contain all the benefits from its lineup it has a decent segment for camera features. Meaning it doesn’t consist of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
