It retails the same design as its predecessor with a width of 9.09mm and weighing 192 grams. It comes in three color variants – Light Green, Light Blue, and Black – with a leather-like finish on the back.

And thanks to a MediaTek Helio G36 (12nm) chipset, which is the main upgrade. This octa-core processor includes four Cortex-A53 (2.2 GHz) and four Cortex-A53 (1.7 GHz) processors, a significant improvement over the Redmi A1’s Helio A22 processor, which has four Cortex-A53 processors clocked at 2.0 GHz. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU, however, remains the same.
