Sony WF-C700N Overview
Build
As per Sony, the WF-C700N is designed with the data gathered since 1982 for ear shapes. Ensuring a perfect match to the human ear with its ergonomic surface design that provides a stable fit.
The earbuds are 38% smaller and 37% lighter than their predecessor, making them more comfortable to wear. It has a cover that weighs 31 g, while each earbud weighs 4.6 g.
It is also water-resistant to IPX4 standards and available in sage green, lavender, white, and black color options. These earphones are now available for purchase from Sony.

Audio
The company incorporates 5mm audio drivers and DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) technology, which enhances the sound quality by restoring information in compressed audio files.
Users can personalize the equalization of these earphones through the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. Moreover, the WF-C700N features ANC, as well as an adaptive ambient sound control that automatically adjusts ambient sound levels based on the user’s location and activities.
Sony claims that the WF-C700N has a more realistic ambient mode, and its built-in mesh-structured microphone reduces wind noise for clearer phone calls.
Battery & Other Features
While offering a playback time of 7.5 hours with ANC enabled, the actual battery life estimate has not been disclosed. Alternatively, it offers a playback time of up to 10 hours with ANC turned off.
Unlike the high-end Sony WF-1000XM4, this device does not support wireless charging. The WF-C700N has Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and supports SBC and AAC codecs.
