Chinese Tiktok alternative Indian Chingari app, has crossed 10 million downloads on Google Play Store. It is among the top two free apps on Play Store for a week now. The app crossed over 22 lakhs downloads in less than a week and has been increasing since the ban of Tiktok in India.
Chingari’s website compromised
The app reached a milestone of 3 million downloads in just ten days and has also gathered 500,000 downloads in only about 72 hours. But with all this growth, there has been witnessed some security breaches. According to a French security researcher Robert Baptiste, the website of the company behind Chingari has been compromised. He mentioned that the site had some kind of malware that redirects the users to various websites.

The ban of more than 50 Chinese apps in India has given Indian app developers an excellent opportunity to create top-notch products that can be the replacement of those Chinese apps.
