In the current days, Facebook has been updating its Messenger video calling services, and now, they added screen sharing to Messenger video calls on its Android and iOS mobile apps.
Video calling has been crucial these days to remain in touch with your family and friends, work purpose, and other stuff. Looking at that, Facebook Messenger brings you a new feature to your hand. Now, you can share your screen with friends and family one-on-one or in a group video call with up to 8 people and 16 people in Messenger Rooms. And, all this comes in your mobile devices.

Without being physically present, screen sharing lets you share a live view of what you are doing, whether it is social media browsing or online-shopping or pictures from the camera roll. Earlier, this feature was only available on desktop. Now that, it is available in mobile apps too, users can seamlessly enjoy the service. All you have to do is get the latest version of the application installed on your mobile devices. You can find the “share your screen” option, once you swipe up in a call.
Moreover, Facebook says that it is surging the number of people who can share their screen from 16 to 50 in Messenger Rooms. They are also working on adding the ability to control who can share their screen in Messenger Rooms. They say that “With these new controls, Room creators will be able to determine whether to limit the ability to screen share to just themselves or make the feature available to all the participants when creating a room and during the call.”
Having these services already, on Skype and Zoom, it is quite intriguing to know that Facebook added this service in mobile applications too.
