With a brand new Sleep Monitor that tracks REM sleep levels and sporadic naps, users can now view their sleep cycles neatly on the Mi Fit App. The heart-rate monitor also comes with an upgrade. Irregular heart rate monitoring is 50% more accurate and the phone notifies the user when irregularly fast heartrate is noticed.
The Mi Band 5 has also added features for women, including menstruation tracking, monthly ovulation tracking, etc.
These new features add on top of the already existing features like Step-counter, activity level counter, etc.
Charging:
The Mi Band 5 comes with a cool magnetic-attach charger that directly fits on the rear of the band. Due to this, users will no longer have to remove the head of the band from the strap every time they need to charge it.
The battery capacity stands at 125mAh, which can last upto 14 days of normal usage with a single full-charge.
