Asus has added a new member to the Zephyrus lineup with the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 in Nepal. Touting a 16:10 aspect ratio screen with minimal bezels, here’s everything you need to know about the Zephyrus M16.
Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 Overview
Design and Display:
The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 rocks a 16- inch panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio which also happens to be anti-glare. There are options available for the display as well, it can be had with up to WQHD resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. But for the Nepali market, we’ll have to make do with the FHD 144Hz panel framed within a 15-inch ultraslim chassis.
The entire contraption is pretty lightweight and weighs in at just 4.19 pounds (1.9Kgs).
Performance:
The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 packs in an 11th gen Intel Core i9-11900H Tiger Lake CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads and a max turbo frequency of 4.9Ghz. Pulling off the graphic duties is the RTX-30 series mobile GPU and the M16 can be configured with either of the three mobile GPU: RTX 3070 (8GB), RTX 3060 (6GB), or RTX 3050 Ti (4GB). As of now, the configuration we’re getting is the RTX 3060 option with 6GB of VRAM.
On the memory front, the Zephyrus M16 gets 16GB of DDR4 RAM, the good thing about this is that the memory isn’t soldered and can be upgraded with up to 48GB. As for the storage, the Asus Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop gets up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

Battery and Audio:
Powering up the internals is a 90Whr 4-cell Li-ion battery which is supposed to give you a battery life of about 8 hours of screen on time. Over at the audio front, the Zephyrus M16 gets a total of 6 speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
I/O:
Even though the Zephyrus M16 is fairly thin and compact, it packs in a 3.5mm headphone jack, an HDMI 2.0 port, Two full-size USB ports with a USB 3.2 Gen 2, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. There are two type-C ports one of which supports Thunderbolt 4. An SD card reader is also present and accounted for.
