After a month of its debut in the Indian market, it is confirmed that the Vivo 21e 5G finally made its way to the Nepali market as well. The standard Vivo V21 which is a 4G version being already available in Nepal, here’s what the new Vivo V21e 5G packs in.
Vivo V21e 5G Overview:
Build and Display:
The Vivo v21e 5G rocks a plastic build. A metal frame holds the plastic back and the front glass together. For the back panel, Vivo has gone for a matte gradient finish. Upfront is a 6.44” inch AMOLED panel with 1080×2400 pixels which gives it a pixel density of 409ppi. The dewdrop notch accommodates the selfie shooter here. This accounts for an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio. The panel boasts 430 nits of brightness and peaks up to 600nits in HBM (High Brightness Mode) this makes the display a downgrade over the vanilla V21 which has support for HDR and also a higher refresh rate at 90Hz. The AMOLED panel makes way for the in-display fingerprint scanner.
Talking about downgrades, the rear-mounted cameras have gone down from three on the V21 to dual cameras on the V2e 5G. As for the color options, the phone is available in two different colors- Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl.
Performance and Memory:
At the helm of the V21e 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC. This is an Octacore chipset fabricated on the 7nm process and features 2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55 CPU cores. The chipset here has higher clock speeds than the standard V21e. With a built-in 5G modem, the Vivo v21e 5G has support for dual 5G standby.
The chipset is then paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage. Do note that this is the only variant available for the V21e 5G and for storage expansion, you’ll have to sacrifice the second SIM card, as it is a hybrid SIM slot.

The selfie shooter is a 32MP f/2.0 snapper and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Battery and Charging:
Powering up the internals is a 4000mAh Li-Po battery with support for 44W fast charging which juices up the V21e 5g from 0 to 72% in 30 minutes as claimed by Vivo.
On the software front, the Vivo V21e 5G runs Funtouch OS 11.1 built on top of Android 11.
