The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 made its debut last year and was one of the best gaming laptops available in the market and since it is 2021, the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 builds on the legacy with a 14” inch display which can be had with either a Quad HD panel with a 165 Hz refresh or an FHD panel with 144Hz refresh rate. The QHD panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and the FHD panel on the other hand covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. As for the Nepali market, we only get the FHD 144Hz variant here.
As for the design, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 carries over the AniMe Matrix display on the lid from its predecessor. Talking of the things borrowed from its predecessor, it also get the same color options i.e. Eclipse Grey and Moonlight White. The entire contraption weighs in at a mere 1.6Kgs making it one of the most portable gaming laptops out there. The bezels are thin and Asus didn’t even try to fit in a webcam here.

Performance and Memory:
Underneath the hood, the 2021 ROG Zephyrus G14 runs on AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads. This undoubtedly is one of the best laptop CPUs available in the market right now.
Pulling off the graphics duties is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 mobile GPU with 6GB of VRAM. As for the RAM options, you can configure this one with up to 48GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe storage.
Battery and I/O:
Running the 2021 Zephyrus G14 off the grid is a 76Wh battery underneath with a 180W power adapter/ charger. It is worth mentioning that the Zephyrus G14 can accept power via one of the two USB-C ports present on it. While there’s support for USB charging, there’s no Thunderbolt support here for obvious reasons (AMD duh).
When it comes to the selection of ports, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gets a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port that supports DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C Power Delivery. There’s another USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two full-size USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, and an HDMI 2.0b port. On the connectivity front, it has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 onboard.
