Honor X30 and Play30 Plus added in the line of Honor Smartphones. Meanwhile,the Honor X30 is the world’s first smartphone powered on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 mobile platform.
Honor has added a new Honor X30 and Play30 Plus to its mid-range X and Play line of smartphones in China. The phones have a mid-tier processor, 5G compatibility, a high-refresh-rate screen, and three rear cameras. Here, we’ll go through the specifications, features, and estimated prices in Nepal for the Honor X30 and Play 30 Plus
Honor X30 Overview:
Design and Display
The HONOR X30 has a 6.8-inch Full HD LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a center-aligned punch-hole cut-out and a design.
On the other hand, the Play 30 has a 6.74-inch HD+ TFT LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features a waterdrop notch design. Meanwhile, both smartphones have minimal bezels and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
Performance
The HONOR X30 boosts the new Snapdragon 695 chipset with up to 15% improvement in CPU, 30% faster GPU, and is conjoint with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM. Moreover, the device offers 128GB / 256GB of native storage. Furthermore, it operates on Magic UI 5.0, based on the Android 11 operating system.
The Play 30 is equipped with a Dimensity 700 5G SoC and comes with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options. Meanwhile, it is powered by Magic UI 5.0,based on Android 11.
Camera
A 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth camera are in the HONOR X30’s triple rear camera configuration.
Moving on, the Play 30 Plus comes with a dual rear camera system that has a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens.
They have 16MP (f/2.5) and 5MP (f/2.2) front-facing cameras, respectively, for selfies.
Rest of the specs
The former has a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, while the latter has a 5,000mAh cell that supports 22.5W fast charging. As for color options, it is available in Morning Gold, Titanium Silver, Charm Sea Blue, and Magic Night Black.

Honor X30 and Honor Play 30 Plus are up for pre-booking in China starting, Pricing at CNY 1,499 and CNY 1,099, respectively. So far, the Honor X30 and Honor play 30 is yet to launch in Nepal. As a result, we estimate Honor X30 and Honor Play 30 Plus to start at NPR 32,000 and NPR 23,000, in Nepal respectively.
