Design
The Huawei MateStation S has a look to stand out with its slim, compact size that measures only 293 x 93 x 315.5 mm. Additionally, it has the “star trail” design, with a diagonal pattern on the front.
Hardware
The MateStation S comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G processor. Meanwhile, it has six cores and 12 threads integrated AMD Radeon Graphics.
Furthermore, the desktop has a 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD and 8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM. There are two RAM slots and two M.2 slots On the motherboard.
Moreover, the motherboard also contains a SATA connector, allowing the user to connect a SATA hard drive or SSD. The desktop also features a PCIe x16 slot that can theoretically accommodate a graphics card.
Keyboard and Share technology
The PC comes with a cord and an ultra-thin keyboard that contains a two-in-one fingerprint reader. As a result, the Huawei MateStation S may take advantage of Huawei technology such as “Huawei sharing” and “one-touch startup.” But you can’t use Huawei’s one-touch startup technology because your keyboard has an embedded fingerprint scanner.
Additionally, Huawei’s share technology is its next feature that comes with the MateStation S. Just by tapping the right shift key on your desktop you, can turn your smartphone and PC into one powerful collaborative gadget. Additionally, it allows Huawei phones to effortlessly connect to computers a variety of tasks, including file transfers, accessing mobile apps on computers, and much more.
Connectivity and Ports
- In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 5 , 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, 2 x 2 MIMO, WPA/WPA2, and Bluetooth 5.0 .
- Moving on to the ports, it features a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C (USB 2.0), and a USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen 2), all of which are beneath the power button.
- A mic-in port, a line-out port, a line-in port, an HDMI port, a VGA port, 4 x USB-A (2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 x USB 2.0), an RJ45 port, and a Serial port are on the backside of the desktop.
