The upcoming Asus laptop comes with dual displays just like its predecessor from 2022, along with a secondary display that rises through a hinge when the lid is opened.
Asus claims that this time the secondary panel is in a ring position of 13° angle for more comfortable in causal and content viewing. You can also see the motherboard with RGB accents when opened which looks way cool and is aesthetically pleasing.
Although there are many changes, Asus also retains its traditional features like ROG design with RGB lighting and the “Fearless Eye” logo on the lid. Likewise, it has a diagonal iridescent slash on the back which also features lighting for dual design language.

Display
In terms of its display, it has a dual display with the primary being of 16-inch Mini LED with Quad HD+ resolution and 240Hz refresh rate with a 3ms response time for those swift gaming actions.
The display also has been certified by TUV Rheinland for emitting low blue light along with VESA DiaplayHDR 1000 approval. Moreover, it supports Dolby Vision, a wide 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1100 nits of peak brightness, 1024 dimming zones, and is also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
For the secondary display, it has a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with 4K resolution, which has an anti-fingerprint layer and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DXC. Where the company claims that the DXC provides 40% improved hardness and fewer surface reflections.
Performance
As for its performance, it is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU, which is comparable to Intel’s Core i9 13900HX. The Ryzen 9 7945HX chipset is fabricated on a 5nm process and has 16 cores and 32 threads, as well as a larger 64MB L3 cache.
It offers 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which can be expanded up to 64 GB. It also has a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD with a storage capacity of 2TB + 2TB. The MUX switch allows the discrete GPU to be directly connected to the display, bypassing the integrated graphics.
For graphics, Asus offers four NVIDIA GeForce cards: the RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070, and RTX 4060. The highest variant of the RTX 4090 has a max TGP of 175W, while the four versions have similar specifications, except for the GPU.
Cooling System
To perform the system of the device well, it needs a high-end cooling system. So for this aspect, Asus has not compromised at all, it features Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal thermal interface material, which offers 17 times more thermal conductivity than conventional thermal paste.
It can reduce the CPU temperature by up to 15°C. The liquid metal interface also has the advantage of never drying out, unlike traditional thermal paste, ensuring sustained performance.
The device is provided with 13% more airflow while generating fewer noise thanks to Arc Flow fans. Also gets four heatsinks with ultrathin copper fins covering five heat pipes, which ensures better heat dissipation with less air resistance.
Battery & Other Features
Fueling the devices is a 90Wh battery consisting of 4 Li-ion cells that can charge quickly at 330W per cell. The laptop also includes a 1080p webcam for video calls and 6 speakers, including dual-force woofers, that support Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res music.
Its keyboard features chiclet backlighting and per-key RGB lighting. In terms of connectivity, the laptop has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort, PD, and G-SYNC support, one HDMI 2.1 FRL port, one 3.5mm combo audio jack, and one 2.5G LAN port. Wireless communication options include Bluetooth 5.2 and triple-band WiFi 6E.
