The Benco V80, which was announced back in April, has now received a higher memory variant. The 4GB/64GB variant now available in Nepal comes in with a price tag of NRs.13,599 defines its entry-level segment. Regardless, let’s get into what this one from INONE Technology has to offer.
Build and Display
Since it is an entry-level smartphone, the build here is plastic (as expected), i.e., plastic back and a plastic frame. The glossy plastic back gets a Benco logo and a fingerprint scanner, and a slight camera bump accommodates a dual camera with LED flash. As for the color options, you can choose between Cyan Blue and Greenish Silver.
To the front is a 6.5” inch IPS LCD display with 1600x720px HD+ resolution. This contributes to a 20:9 aspect ratio and an 89.5% screen-to-body ratio. Apart from this, this 9.35mm thick device weighs in at a hefty 195.7 grams.
Performance
At the helm of the Benco V80 is a Unisoc SC9863 SoC. This SoC comprises eight Cortex-A55 cores divided into two clusters, tuned at 1.6GHz and 1.2GHz, respectively. The SoC is paired with 3 or 4GB of RAM to choose from.
As for the storage options, one can choose between 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256 GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Software
The Benco V80 runs a near-stock version of Android 11 with little to no tweaking from Benco whatsoever on the software side of things.
Battery and Miscellaneous:
The entire hardware is backed up by a 5000mAh battery that charges over micro-USB. For honorable mentions, the fingerprint scanner can unlock the device in 0.3 seconds, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports VoLTE.
