Benco V80 launched in Nepal | Price | Specification

Benco is the new name or rather new iteration of devices under INONE Technology that brought us Lava phones. To put things into perspective, when Benco V8 launched, it had Lava branding on it but now the company has announced Benco an independent brand. Regardless, the first device that benco is entering the Nepali smartphone market with is the benco V80 which is an entry-level smartphone. So what does the benco V80 pack in?

Overview:

To the front of the Benco V80 is a 6.51” inch IPS LCD panel with 1600 x 720p resolution which gives it an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display also houses a teardrop notch that packs in an 8.0MP front camera. The taller aspect ratio gives the V80 a 89.5% screen-to-body ratio.

For the back of the V80, benco has gone for a glossy plastic with a gradient finish. The back houses a dual camera setup with an 8.0MP primary and a secondary VGA camera making up the numbers. A fingerprint sensor is present to the back and benco claims its response time to be 0.3seconds. The entire body weighs in at 195.7 gms.

Underneath the Hood:

Powering up the device is the Unisoc SC9863 processor (for those of you wondering what Unisoc is, the name Spreadtrum might ring a bell). This is an octa core chipset with eight Cortex A-55 cores with 4 powerful cores clocked at 1.6GHz each and 4 power efficient cores clocked at 1.2GHz each. Backing up the performance is either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.The benco V80 comes in with two different configurations; a 3GB/32GB and a 4GB/64GB configuration. The storage can be expanded via micro SD up to 256GB.

The benco V80 packs in a 5000mAh battery that charges via micro USB.
