Women in Big Data (WiBD) is a not-for-profit organization established globally with the aim to champion the success of women in Big Data. It aims to give women the required push in tech. Established in June 2015 in California at Intel Corporation, the WiBD chapter for South Asia Region started in March 2020 with 8 South Asian countries as members at present. This time around, Women in Big data South Asia is hosting a two-day Virtual Data and AI Summit on the 19th and 20th of June i.e. 5th and 6th of Ashadh.
What is the Data and AI Summit about?
The Data and AI summit will familiarize you with the fundamentals of data, data structure, and artificial intelligence. Once you’ve nailed the fundamentals, you’ll then be going through various data analytics frameworks, modern approaches to Data and AI as well as integration of AI with big data. The main aim of this event is to enhance the capacity and skill of data practitioners as well as extend the knowledge on innovative approaches with the end goal to provide a general overview of trends adopted by the industry to obtain a sustainable data ecosystem.
All that means is that the summit will have you covered on the grounds of real-world usability scope and the future of data analytics and AI in general. This two-day-long summit constitutes intensive speaker sessions, panel discussions, as well as workshops to make it more productive.
Who can participate?
The summit is targeted towards the population across South Asia and if you’re someone who’s interested, you can participate. However, the summit will be more fruitful for Data engineers Data scientists Machine learning Engineers, and Business leaders along with Researchers, Managers, Students, Engineers, and data practitioners who are interested in big data, data management, data security, and other aspects of information systems and technology involving applications of data and AI.

When?
