Two new wearables hit the Nepali market, this time around its Honor Nepal hitting the market with two new smartwatches cum fitness trackers in the form of Honor Watch GS Pro and Watch ES in Nepal. Here’s what these new wearables in town bring to your wrists and everything you need to know about them.
Honor Watch GS Pro Overview:
The Honor Watch GS Pro is Honor’s first and only rugged smartwatch with MIL-STD-810G military certification against 14 tests. Love it or hate it, the ruggedness comes from a polycarbonate body with the exception being its bezel which is stainless steel. Completing the rugged quotient is the silicone strap.
As for the watch face itself, it is adorned by a 1.39” inch AMOLED panel with 454 x 454pixels resolution. This is not a regular smartwatch or at least Honor doesn’t want you to think that way. Honor markets the Watch GS Pro as a companion to go on adventures with you and says that it can plan your day ahead.
Adding adventure to the watch is weather information, sunrise and sunset time, moon and tidal phases, and bad weather alerts. The GPS “Route Back” feature we saw on the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro is also present here that helps you get back home using a dual-satellite system.
Fitness and Health Tracking:
Starting off, the Honor Watch GS Pro gets support for 100+ workout modes with more than 15 professional and other customized workout modes. There’s a ski mode, and the watch can act as a skiing coach while giving you information on your total duration, average speed, heart rate, biggest slope, climbed distance, and user’s heart rate during the skiing session.
As for the health and fitness tracking sensors, the Watch GS Pro gets 24/7 heart rate monitoring, all-night sleep tracking, and a SpO2 sensor to help monitor your oxygen saturation levels.
Battery:
Honor claims a 25 days battery life out of this one with GPS turned off in the Power Saving Mode. Turning GPS on will take the endurance down to 100hours. Similarly, with GPS turned on but Power Saving Mode turned off, the endurance drops further down to 40 hours.
As for the storage, it is 4GB and can locally store up to 500 songs which can then be played via its onboard speaker.

Design and Workout Modes:
With a 1.64″-inch AMOLED panel with a pixel resolution of 326ppi. A rectangular display that sits flushed with the actual body, covered in 2.5D glass, gives it a more casual and laidback look that most can pull off on a daily.
When it comes to workouts, the Watch ES supports 95+ workout modes with 10 professional ones and the others customized.
Exercises like walking (indoor and outdoor), rowing, and elliptical are automatically detected by the Watch ES. Honor has given the Watch ES 12 different workout animations along with 44 standard body-movement animations.
Health and Fitness Tracking:
There’s an optical heart rate sensor with 24/7 heart rate monitoring, a SpO2 sensor to monitor oxygen saturation levels. Honor claims that the watch provides accurate readings and offers supervision and alerts if any of the reading is irregular. There’s also a Female Cycle Tracker to keep a track of the menstrual cycle.
Honor has also borrowed features like Huawei’s TruRelax-that lets you control your stress by providing a guide to a series of breathing exercises that might help and TruSleep which records deep, light REM sleep, and awake while still analyzing your breathing pattern.
It also gets features such as weather forecast and alerts, music playback control, and lift to view incoming calls, messages, and calendar events.
