Vivo’s independent iQOO brand has officially launched its first flagship series for the year, following weeks of leaks, guesses, and speculation. The iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and iQOO 9 BMW M Motorsport edition are part of the iQOO series. The smartphones include UFS 3.1 storage and are developed having gamers in mind. Here we will be looking at the characteristics, features, expected pricing, and availability of the iQOO 9 Pro in Nepal.
Design and Display
The iQOO 9 Pro has a 6.78-inch display with a 2K panel and a 10-bit color depth. The refresh rate is the same at 120 Hz. The touch sampling rate of the smartphone is 360Hz. Meanwhile, it features a 20:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 3200 x 1400 pixels. It features a peak brightness of up to 1500nits and a P3 color gamut of 100 percent.
In addition, there’s also a fingerprint sensor and two speakers built into the display. The phone comes in two color options Orange and Legend Edition, and has a textured feel. A tri-color racing stripe on the latter represents the company’s ties with BMW Motors.
Performance and Memory
It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and an Adreno GPU.
It has 512GB UFS 3.1 storage up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Meanwhile, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 and the OriginOS skin. While gaming, the phone is equipped with VC liquid cooling to keep the temperature under control.
Camera
The iQOO 9 Pro has a 50-megapixel preeminent camera with an integrated gimbal and a second 50-megapixel fisheye ultra-wide-angle lens with 150° ultra-wide-angle capability and a fun fisheye macro option. A 16-megapixel telephoto portrait lens makes up the third sensor.
Rest of the specs
A dual-cell 4700mAh battery powers the phone. Additionally, the phone can be charged from 0 to 100% in under 13 minutes because of the 120W FlashCharge technology. Similarly, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging are supported.
It has 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection for charging and data.

iQOO 9 Pro Price and Availability
The starting price is CNY 4,999 for the Pro model. We expect the price of 9 Pro in Nepal to start at NPR 107,000, respectively if, and when they launch here.
