iQOO launched the newest smartphone in its “Neo” series, known as the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which is basically the rebrand of the previous 2022 launched iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. Built & Display
The phone gets a sleek and stylish design that closely resembles the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition, which was initially released only in China. It happens to come in two different color options – “Fearless Flame” and “Dark Storm.” The curved sides of the device, along with the leather finish, provide a comfortable grip.
For display, the device provides a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. This means that the screen refreshes 120 times per second, resulting in smoother animations and scrolling. Powering the Pro smartphone is a powerful and high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is built on a 4nm manufacturing process. It includes a single Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.19 GHz for demanding tasks, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz for balanced performance, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz for power efficiency. The Neo 7 Pro is specifically designed to offer exceptional performance in its price range, as it boasts the highest AnTuTu score compared to other phones in its category.
iQOO also provides an Independent Gaming Chip for the phone which helps to deliver smoother gameplay by using frame interpolate techniques to increase the frame rate. Moreover, it incorporates a vapor chamber cooling system with a coverage space of 4013mm² to effectively dissipate heat during intensive gaming sessions, ensuring optimal thermal management.
The device also offers gaming-centric features such as Motion Control where users can set up specific actions to trigger certain functions in games, such as reloading in popular battle royale titles like PUBG and COD Mobile.
