Lenovo’s Yoga Series is a popular 2-in-1 convertible laptop among content creators. It brings yet another series, “Yoga Pro 9i” with a traditional clamshell design. Along with entry-level Yoga Slim 6 and the premium Yoga Pro 7i (2023). Another Yoga series that launched in Nepal is Lenovo Yoga 7 16 2022.

Design & Display

Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 2023 Series includes two primary models with four sub-models, each featuring a Mini LED or LCD panel. This high-end laptop has a sturdy metal body but a sleek design and weighs only 1.6 kg. The lid is flexible, and the keyboard has a large trackpad and 1.5mm key travel.

Users can choose a touchscreen display with up to 3.2K or 3K resolution, and all models offer a 165Hz fast refresh rate and 100% sRGB and P3 color gamut compatibility. The 16-inch model has a dedicated number pad, and the base 14.5-inch model has a 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance

Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 2023 has powerful hardware options, which is up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13905H CPU and RTX 4070 laptop GPU, with i5-13505H and i7-13705H CPUs and RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 GPU as additional choices.

But the 16-inch model outperforms the 14.5-inch models with 100W TGP for all three GPU options, compared to 80W TGP. For memory options, it offers 16/32/64GB LPDDR5X dual-channel RAM, and storage options include either 512GB or 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 M.2 for both models.

Battery & Other Features

In terms of battery, it has a 76Wh battery and features either 4 or 6 Dolby Atmos-powered speakers, depending on the model. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 are supported for wireless communication, and the laptop also comes equipped with a 5MP web camera and 4 microphones.

Both models offer various port options, with the 16-inch model featuring a Square DC connection, USB A 3.2 Gen 1 5G, Intel Thunderbolt 4, and Audio Combo Jack on the left side, as well as a Full-Sized SD Card Reader and USB A 3.2 Gen 1 5G port.

Meanwhile, the 14.5-inch model features an Intel Thunderbolt 4 port, USB Type-C Full Function, HDMI 2.1, Full Sized SD Card reader, three USB A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, Audio Combo Jack, and a USB A 3.2 Gen 1 port on the left side.
