On July 12, 2022, the most awaited Nothing Phone (1) is launched with its unique design for aesthetic pleasures and other features. The long overdue and much-awaited Android 13 update is reportedly said to be in the process (guessing in the next software update).
Though is not officially confirmed, as per 91Mobiles, the supporting team of Nothing brand claims that Android 13 will begin implementation by the end of this week in the UK which is requested by clients globally.
Note: It may gradually come to the Asian countries as well.

Nothing Phone (1) Overview
The first phone, the company launched after Nothing ear (1). Phone (1) takes a sustainable design with the frames made of recycled aluminum and the plastic used in the phone is recycled tin for the soldering of the phone components.
Build

The phone has a 6.55-inch OLED flat panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels resulting in a 20:9 aspect ratio.
It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and is a 10Bit HDR10+ certified display with 402PPI and 240Hz of touch sampling.
Design
With the transparent body and multiple LED lights on the back, which is called the Glyph interface. Moreover, an aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the back with just 8.3mm thickness.
The phone is an aesthetical pleasure to look at and has Dyson’s singularity-focused design that is a collaboration with Adam Bates, Jesper Kouthoofd, and Tom Howard.

As for Glyph Interface, the highlight of the phone. It has included a total of five lightning strips with around 200 LEDs that can work both together or as singular for notifications, calls, and while charging.
The consumer is able to customize the different pattern or use it for illumination for the cameras.
Additionally, backlights can be in tandem with the built-in ringtones and also the option to turn off the Glyph interface.
Performance
Phone (1) is manufactured in collaboration with Qualcomm. It indicates the phone’s possibility to use a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Phone (1) is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset while featuring an 8-core CPU with 4 performance (ARM Cortext-A78) and 4 efficiencies (ARM Cortex-A55) cores.

Nothing OS Launcher
Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing confirms, that the phone has Nothing OS pre-installed and is stated to provide a quick, fluid, and personal experience.
Nothing OS is built as a modified version of Android that “captures the best features” and distills it “to just the essentials.”

Nothing Phone 1 offers 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates. Nothing Launcher (Beta) is a beta preview of Nothing OS.
Furthermore, Nothing OS uses custom fonts, colors, and graphical components to emphasize its distinct visual language. Captivating features include Max Icons and Max Folders, as well as bespoken Weather and Clock widgets.
Optical Features
The camera of this phone is kept simple featuring dual rear cameras, 50MP 1/1.56′′ Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, and support for OIS and EIS dual stabilization.
As for the secondary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with a 114° field of view and a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies.
Charger
The company provides wireless charging which supports 15W charging and even has 5W reverse wireless charging for your TWS earbuds and other accessories.
For battery, it is fueled by a 4500mAh battery bundled along with 33W fast charging.
