Nubia, a ZTE sub-brand, has officially unveiled the Nubia Z40 Pro in China. The Nubia Z40 Pro was introduced as the successor to the Nubia Z30 Pro. Nubia Z40 Pro Overview
The Nubia Z40 Pro was introduced as the successor to the Nubia Z30 Pro in China. The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. Similarly, Z40 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, it is the first smartphone to have the Sony IMX 787 sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities. In addition, Nubia is offering “Gravity Edition” of the Z40 Pro with magnetic charging capability. Build and Display:
The phone has an AG (anti-glare) glass sandwich design with a metal frame. It has dimensions of 161.9 x 72.9 x 8.4mm and weighs 199 grams. Similarly, the phone comes in two shades: Interstellar Black and Galaxy. In addition, this smartphone also comes in a special version based on the anime ‘The Outcast.’
Furthermore, Nubia Z40 Pro has a 6.67-inch curved OLD display with a 2400 x 1080 pixel (FHD+) resolution. It has 395 PPI and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the top-end model comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In addition, the smartphone has a vapor chamber cooling setup with a total heat dissipation area of 3500 square millimeters.
Software and Connectivity:
The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 and MyOS 12 on top. Similarly, it supports Dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-C) for connectivity. In addition, it has two stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra compatibility and an x-axis vibration motor.

The Nubia Z40 Pro is powered by a 5,00mAh battery with 80W rapid wired charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. Similarly, a magnetic charging version of the phone is also available. The base model of the Z40 costs CNY 3,399 in China. Meanwhile, the Gravity Edition costs range from CNY 4,299 and CNY 5,999 in China. However, no information on the global release date or pricing for the Z40 Pro has been released. For the time being, we estimate that the Z40 Pro will cost between NPR 67,500 and NPR 118,000 in Nepal.

The Nubia Z40 Pro has ample storage, a better camera, a big screen, and a rapid charging capability. However, the phone has not yet been released globally, so we cannot estimate how well it will perform in the market.
