OnePlus launched its OnePlus 9 series back in March. Among them, the OnePlus 9 is already available in Nepal. In addition, the series includes the OnePlus 9R exclusively available in India and not available in Nepal here. The newest OnePlus 9 Pro was released on 1st week of October in Nepal. Now the company has launched its “T” version. The OnePlus 9RT version was launched in China on the 13th of October. OnePlus 9RT Overview:
Design and Display
The OnePlus 9RT design is similar to 9R. It has a 6.62″ full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) E4 AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the touch sampling rate is now 600Hz. The phone also offers 100% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10+ support.
Optical Features
On the optical part, the OnePlus 9RT has round edge rectangular camera. It has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, 16-megapixel f/2.2 secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter sensor. This sensor is the same that is used in the ultra-wide camera OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. However, it does not have the Hasselblad camera.
At the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera sensor with a 1-micron pixel size. The phone supports digital overlap HDR. That means two photographs may be taken and combined for a clearer image at a different exposure.
Performance and Memory
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 9RT features snapdragon 888 chipsets. It’s an increment from the original 9R Snapdragon 870. OnePlus has also used cooling apparatus. The Penta cooling system on 9RT covers 19067.44 m2 and improves the heat dissipation by 20 percent.
Coming to the memory, it has two variants of LPDDR5 RAM; 8GB and 12GB. The users can also add virtual RAMs of up to 7GB. In addition, it has an internal storage of 128/256GB UFS 3.1 to store your files.
Rest of the specs
There is no upgrade in the battery department. The phone comes with a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W of fast charging support. There is no wireless charging. On the software front, the phone runs with ColorOS 12 on the Android 12 box.
However, the software font will be replaced by OxygenOS if the phone launches in other countries. The new three-antenna Wi-Fi system will also highlight the device. It limits its average latency to up to 38 meters.

OnePlus 9RT is already released in China however, the official sale will commence on 19 October. Meanwhile, you can pre-order the phone. The estimated price of the OnePlus 9RT starts at NPR 70,000. Similarly, the price starts at CNY 3,299 for 8/128GB, CNY 3,499 for 8/256GB, and CNY 3,799 for 12/256GB in China.
