As the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was launched in Nepal, the company is launching a new smartphone Oneplus Nord 3 in Nepal. It is the follow-up of the OnePlus Nord 2 and is officially subjected to MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G SoC. According to the information gathered the Nord 3 could be a rebranded edition of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was previously available only in China. Built & Display
The Nord 3 smartphone showcases a 6.74-inch display with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels. Its display utilizes OnePlus’ Fluid AMOLED technology, offering vibrant and immersive visuals. With a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1000Hz touch response, the display delivers smooth and responsive interactions. It can reach a peak brightness of 1450 nits and features a 40-120Hz adaptive dynamic frame rate, optimizing the display’s performance based on the content being viewed.

Performances
As for the performance, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is MediaTek’s flagship system-on-a-chip for 2021. This chip is built on a 4nm manufacturing process and comprises a powerful Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.
It also incorporated a large 4129.8 sq. mm VC cooling system in the phone to manage heat efficiently. In terms of memory, the device is available in two storage configurations, namely 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 16GB RAM with 256GB storage. However, only the higher 16/256GB variant is available for pre-booking in Nepal.
Camera
The device comes with a triple-camera system, the primary camera gets 50MP f1.8 lens and utilizes the IMX890 sensor, which is also used in OnePlus’ flagship device, the OnePlus 11. This allows you to capture detailed and sharp images, and it supports recording videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
The second camera, has an 8MP ultrawide lens, although it may not offer the same level of quality found in more expensive phones. However, OnePlus has made adjustments to reduce distortion and warping in photos by narrowing the angle of view to 112°. This camera is useful for capturing wider scenes or group shots. The tertiary camera is a 2MP macro shooter that is designed for close-up photography.
For taking selfies, it features a 16MP f2.4 front-facing camera with support for only 1080p@30fps videos. While it would have been preferable to have the capability to record at 60 frames per second, the camera does support gyro-EIS (electronic image stabilization), which helps in reducing shakiness and ensuring smoother video footage.

Fueling it is a 5000mAh dual-cell battery that supports OnePlus’s 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, and charges via the Type-C Port. OnePlus also claims that the phone can reach a 1-60% charge in just 15 minutes, providing users with quick and efficient charging capabilities.
It comes pre-installed with Android 13 and runs on OxygenOS 13.1, offering users the latest software features and optimizations right out of the box.
