Following Xiaomi and Realme, OPPO is the newest Android OEM to enter the tablet market. OPPO Pad, the Chinese OEM’s first Android tablet, was announced alongside the new Find X5 flagship series. Meanwhile, the Oppo Pad is the company’s first tablet, and it has been released in China. Let’s take a peek at the Oppo Pad.
Oppo Pad Overview:
The Oppo Pad is a high-end tablet with an 11-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its looks like an Apple iPad Air in design. Similarly, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. In addition, the tablet is compatible with the Oppo Pencil, a Chinese brand’s proprietary stylus. Without further ado, let’s look into the Oppo Pad, its specifications, price, and availability in Nepal.
Build and Display:
The design of the OPPO Pad is based on the Apple iPad Air. The tablet has a metal frame with rounded sides and a frosted glass rear. The OPPO logo is imprinted in the center, with a single camera sensor and an LED flash module in the upper right corner.
Meanwhile, a large 11-inch display dominates the front, with slim bezels all around. The AMOLED display on the OPPO Pad has a pixel density of 274ppi. Similarly, it has a 2560 x 1600 resolution LCD LTPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 compatibility. In addition, it has a capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch technology.
Optical Features
On the rear side of the tablet, OPPO has included a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera that can capture respectable photographs with a resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels. Similarly, it features an Octa-core Kryo 585 CPU with a 3.2GHz maximum performance. In addition, the device has 6GB/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage.
Software and Connectivity
The tablet runs ColorOS for Pad, which is based on Android 11 and comes with added productivity features and optimization. You can use your OPPO phone and tablet to run two apps simultaneously, launch apps in floating windows, open two instances of the same program in parallel windows, and more. Some of the connectivity options in the smartphone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.2, A-GPS, and USB Type-C.

The Oppo Pad comes with an 8360mAh Li-Polymer battery and supports 33W Fast Charging technology. Similarly, it includes strong quad speakers with a 2.00cc super-large sound chamber and compatibility for Dolby Atmos. Moreover, there is Face-unlock for biometrics. In addition, the tablet is available in two colors: black and purple.
The OPPO Pencil, which has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, a 240Hz sampling rate, and 360-degree stealth touch, is compatible with the tablet. You can use a stylus to take notes and draw, and it charges through the tablet wirelessly. Additionally, OPPO sells a smart external keyboard that connects to the tablet using magnets.

Oppo Pad Price and Availability:
The Oppo Pad is now available in China, with a starting price of CNY 2,299. Meanwhile, the Oppo Pencil and smart magnetic keyboard will cost CNY 499 and CNY 399, respectively, and are needed to buy separately. The tablet will be available in China starting March 3. Meanwhile, the company has not yet announced the global launch. However, we estimate the Oppo Pad to start around NPR 47,500 in Nepal.

Final Thoughts
The OPPO Pad looks like a balance of performance and speed. It comes with a decent camera system on both ends and a large battery design that allows for seamless functioning. Furthermore, the 4G voice calling enables seamless audio and video calls while traveling.
