Poco announced the Poco M4 Pro 5G as the successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G at a virtual event. The new Poco phone is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 5G. Which was released in China earlier this month. In this article, we will be looking at the Poco M4 Pro 5G’s specifications, features, and availability in Nepal.
POCO M4 Pro 5G Overview
Design and Display :
The M4 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dot Display. It is slightly larger than its predecessor. While the refresh rate remains at 90Hz, the touch sampling rate has increased from 180Hz to 240Hz. The phone is 75.78 x 163.56 x 8.75mm, 195gm in weight.
At the back, Poco has gone with a familiar bold design that debuted with the Poco M3. Furthermore, it has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a usual brightness of 450 nits. Meanwhile, It appears to have a rectangular camera bump enclosed inside a big black envelope with a “Poco” branding. The phone is available in three colors: Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue.
Optical Features:
On the optical side, the phone has a large camera island with the Poco branding, similar to the Poco M3 from earlier this year. Moving on, the rear camera arrangement has only two sensors, one less than its predecessor. Poco has thankfully replaced the two 2MP sensors with an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree lens for photographs and videos. Furthermore, It has many artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities, such as a Night Mode, included in the camera arrangement. Similarly, An LED flash is also in the back camera module. The Poco phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
Performance and Memory :
The Poco M4 Pro 5G is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. To put it in perspective, it is a faster version of the Dimensity 700 found in the M3 Pro. Furthermore, it assembled using a more energy-efficient 6nm technology. It has 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64 or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage available. Out of the box, the device runs MIUI 12.5 for Poco, which is based on Android 11
Battery and others
Poco M4 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery, which is the same as its predecessor. It has access to 33W fast charging, as opposed to 18W on the M3 Pro. Meanwhile, it offers other features like dual speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The 4GB+64GB base variant of the Poco M4 Pro 5G costs 229 Euros (Rs. 19,650), while the 6GB+128GB variant costs 249 Euros. Meanwhile, when it launches in Nepal, it is expected to cost roughly NPR 32,500.
