The Realme 8i has a 6.6 inch LCD IPS Panel with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sample rate of 180 Hz. Similarly, it supports 6 refresh rate levels that change dynamically based on the content display. Furthermore, this is also the first Realme phone to reach 1 nit of luminosity. On the other hand, the display supports a maximum brightness of 600 nits.
Additionally, this phone measures 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 194 gm. It also has a rectangular camera cutout on the back and a punching-hole cutout on the front. The Realme 8i has two color options: Black Space and Purple Space.
Optical Features:
On the optical side, it has a triple camera arrangement. There is a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera at the rear. It is followed by a 4cm focal length and B&W portrait camera. On the front, it is a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. Coming to the video, Realme 8i can shoot 1080P videos up to 30fps with this Realme setup.
Performance and Memory
Realme during the launched of Realmi 8i claims to work with MediaTek to supply the chip. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 12nm chipset. There is a 2.05Ghz octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC2 that performs the GPU tasks.
In addition, the device has up to 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. Subsequently, we can virtually extend RAM up to 5GB ‘DRE Technology’.
Software and Connectivity
Realme features UI 2.0 is based on Android 11. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 dual-band connectivity.
