Realme 9i launched as the successor of Realme 8i features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Realme is one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands with a substantial market share. To continue to pick up the market Realme has been expanding its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Realme 9i. And, Realme has launched the Realme 9i in Nepal, which was recently gone official in Vietnam. It is a mid-range smartphone launched as the successor to the Realme 8i. We’ll look into the specifics of Realme 9i in this article.
Realme 9i Overview
The Realme 9i smartphone was released on January 10, 2022. The phone has a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels (PPI). The Realme 9i is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor of the Realme 9i is octa-core. The Realme 9i is equipped with a patented fast-charging system. Display and Design
The Realme 9i has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch-sampling rate of 180 Hz. Similarly, it supports 5-refresh rate levels (30/48/50/60/90Hz) that change dynamically based on the content display. On the other hand, the display supports a maximum brightness of 480 nits.
Additionally, this phone measures 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4 mm in dimensions and weighs 19o grams. Similarly, the device has a new prism texture which is made up of over 3,000 machined lines. Further, Realme 9i has used an 8-layer optical coating technique for visual effects. Moreover, it also has a rectangular camera cutout on the back and a punching-hole cutout on the front.

The phone has a triple camera arrangement on the back, including a 50-megapixel primary camera. The 2MP B&W portrait camera and 2MP macro camera join the 50MP primary lens. Similarly, it has a 16-MP front-facing selfie camera with a punch-hole cutout.

Unlike Realme 8i, Realme 9i claims to work with Qualcomm to supply the chip. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (6nm Mobile Platform) chipset. As a result, we can expect a significant improvement in the performance. There is an Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver) CPU and an Adreno 610 that performs the GPU tasks.
In addition, the device has up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM (up to 11GB virtual RAM) and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 1TB). Subsequently, we can virtually extend RAM up to 11GB.

Realme features UI 2.0 is based on Android 11. It supports WI-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS for connectivity.

The device is fueled by a battery of 5000mAh with 33W fast charging support. Realme 9i also has a side-mounted biometric fingerprint sensor. As for the color option, it is available in Prism Black and Prism Blue shades.

Price and Availability
The Realme 9i is priced at NPR NPR. 24,499 for the 4/64GB model in Nepal. Similarly, it will cost NPR 27,999 for the 6/128GB model. Meanwhile, pre-ordering will begin on February 21 via Daraz.
