The 12 Turbo has a boxy shape similar to the Note 12 Pro, but with a slight difference in the back design. It gets separate camera rings that protrude from the rear panel instead of a single camera island housing all the sensors. Similarly, it comes in three different color options: Black, Blue, and White, with a frosted back, and weighs around 179 grams.
The premium “Harry Potter” Edition of the 12 Note Series (debut in China) comes with a nostalgic Hogwarts logo imprinted on the rear, and unique accessories are included, such as Marauder’s guide directions, intriguing stickers, a unique case, and a SIM card ejector tool bearing the logo of the 93/4 radio station.

As for the display, it features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ punch-hole AMOLED display on the front, which is Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ certified. This 12-bit screen can support a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Likewise, to ensure eye safety, it comes equipped with 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming technology.
High-end Performance & Cooling
As mentioned previously, it boasts the phone with the world’s first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. This chip brings a 4nm process, including a Prime X2 (2.9GHz), three Cortex-A710 (2.49GHz), and four Cortex-A510 processors, resulting in a 1+3+4 CPU design. While it’s Adreno 725 GPU is less powerful than the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1’s Adreno 730 GPU, the phone still achieved an impressive Antutu score of 1,010,385.
For cooling, it offers a 3725mm vapor cooling chamber that helps regulate temperature, while pairing with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage making for a speedy and efficient user experience. The device runs on the MIUI 14 ROM, which is based on Android 13.
Camera
It comes with a triple-camera setup, and a 64MP sensor for the primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both lenses are placed in a spherical “Turbo Double Ring” arrangement. Lastly, there is a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
Battery & Other Features
Fueling the device is a 5000mAh Li-Po battery that supports 67W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster. The phone also has dual stereo speakers and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power key.
