Nepal Base Company, Ripple introduce yet another latest embedded 12th Gen Intel CPU laptop: Ripple Nova and Ripple Nova Pro Gaming Laptop. Both products get NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics.

Build & Display
The Latest Nova Series has uniform designs, including identical screen sizes and weights. Likewise, the Nova Pro boasts both (Intel / Ryzen) Processors, which makes it superior in comparison to vanilla.
Both lineups feature a 15.6-inch QHD resolution screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, while even its 2K panel offers complete sRGB coverage. As a result, it’s an attractive option for content creators. On the other hand, the Ripple Nova comes with a 144Hz FHD display only.

Performance
The new Ryzen version of the Nova Pro is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU, an octa-core processor with clock speeds ranging from 3.2GHz to 4.7GHz. The processor supports Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) and has a 16MB cache.
In addition to the new Nova Pro Ryzen, Ripple will continue to offer the 12th Gen Intel-powered Nova and Nova Pro gaming laptops. The Intel version of the Nova Pro features a 12-core Core i7-12700H CPU with 6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores. You might also like Ripple Nova Pro Ryzen and Ripple Eden.
The standard vanilla Nova comes with a Core i5-12500H, a hybrid basic architecture similar to its larger sibling but with fewer threads and cores and higher performance (four).
All Nova series gaming laptops are equipped with NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series gaming laptops for their graphical capabilities. The Nova Pro, regardless of the CPU you choose, comes with an RTX 3060 GPU with a maximum TGP (Total Graphics Power) of 140W.
The Ryzen version even features a MUX Switch to bypass the integrated graphics and speed up graphic workloads. The RTX 3050 Ti in the Ripple Nova is designed to deliver up to 90W TGP.
Memory
The starting configuration for the Intel-powered Nova series laptops includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. However, there are memory upgrade options available. In contrast, the Nova Pro Ryzen comes with a minimum of 16GB of RAM.
All three laptops feature expandable RAM and SSD slots. It’s important to note that the Pro laptops come with DDR5 slots, which are faster but unfortunately less widely available in the market.
Battery & Other Features
The Nova Pro comes with a 180W power adapter and a 62.32Wh battery. Whereas the vanilla is equipped with a 150W adapter and a smaller 42.32Wh battery.
Both laptops feature identical port selections, including three Type-A, one Type-C, an HDMI, an audio out, and an Ethernet port.
