Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G, the company’s newest 5G model in Nepal. The F42 5G model is more like a re-brand of the A22 5G that never made it to Nepali shores. Build and Display
To begin, the Galaxy F42 5G has a textured rear finish similar to the M-series and F-series phones. It sports a square camera module with a black pill form on the inside that provides a dual-tone finish. This phone measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9 mm in dimension, weighs 203 grams, and comes in black and blue shades. You’ll get a 6.6-inch screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It sports a TFT LCD panel with an Infinity V-shaped notch.
Optical Feature
At the back of the Galaxy F42, 5G is a triple camera arrangement. A 64MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 leads the setup. Similarly, a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor follow it. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP selfie camera hidden under the above-mentioned Infinity-V notch.
Performance and Memory
The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Density 700 5G processor. Similarly, its 7nm processor has Cortex-A76 performance and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The 5G modem on Galaxy F42 supports a total of 12 bands. There are two RAM options available here: 6GB or 8GB. Regardless, both models include 128GB of internal storage that can extend with a microSD card.
Software and Connectivity:
The phone is running on One UI 3.1 with Android 11 on top. Moreover, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector included for communication. The Galaxy F42 5G also comes with standard connectivity features such as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C.

It’s fantastic to see Samsung launching phones at a variety of prices. Samsung’s new Smartphones are excellent all-rounders for shooting great pictures, playing games, and watching movies on a large screen.
