Daraz promised some exclusive releases on its big Mobile Week, and anyone who’s familiar with them knows that they don’t go back on their words. Daraz started off its long-awaited event with the release of one of the hottest Samsung gizmo on the market right now: the Samsung Galaxy M40.

Before we jump on to the price point and availability, let’s just look over some of the juicy details of this brilliant phone.

Samsung Galaxy M40 overview:

First announced in June of 2019, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is the latest smartphone on Samsung’s prized M-series. It’s no doubt that the M10, M20, and M30 were great releases, each equipped with bigger screens, better cameras, better design, and overall better performance than other smartphones at their price range. It’s a great pleasure that the M40 hasn’t abandoned this tradition and comes with many great features too, some of which haven’t been seen before at this price range.

The phone comes with a 6.3 inch super AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, which provides a certain amount of resistance to external scratches and cracks. It is the first in its price range to feature the Infinity-O hole-punch display. This, along with other design aspects like the reflective glass-like back, makes the phone very sleek to look at. The phone features the new on-screen sound technology. This means that the screen itself vibrates at necessary frequencies to produce sound, eliminating the need for speaker holes.

The back of this phone flaunts a 32MP primary camera(f/1.7), 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP one with a depth sensor setup. This is sure to cover the camera needs of any regular user. The front snapper is a 16MP punch-hole design camera that makes sure that your selfies end up stunning and cute.

With all its features, it is definitely a strong rival to Chinese smartphone companies that have been dominant recently in the low and mid-range budget.

Pricing and Availability:

The Galaxy M40 will be available at a price of Rs 36,190 exclusively on Daraz. Currently, only the 6GB RAM – 128 GB ROM variant of the phone has been made available and on two color choices: Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue. Delivery is reported to start from the 27th of June so people who have ordered this sexy beast of a phone can finally get their hands on them a short while later.

If you want to get the phone or reap the sweet discounts on phones and accessories, you’re missing out if you don’t participate in Daraz’s Mobile Week. So, if you haven’t started your smartphone hunt yet, we have this guide to help you out throughout the event.
