Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus officially launched in Nepal

Samsung Nepal has officially launched its anticipated bezel-less flagship phone of 2017, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in the Nepalese market. Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus is the most beautiful smartphone in the market which is packed with awesome features allowing it to be above the competition in the market. The price of Samsung  Galaxy S8 is Rs 88,900 and Galaxy S8 Plus is Rs 98,900 which is cheaper than the price in India. Samsung Nepal has priced the phone very competitively compared to the international market.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus features 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches of Quad HD Super AMOLED display respectively with a resolution of  1440 * 2960 pixel density on both of them. Both phones come with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. The display is the key attraction of the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus and Samsung calls it the infinity display. Infinity display gives these phones an awesome feel which you can’t experience in any other phones launched till now.
S8 & S8 Plus runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat) and is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 Chipset with Octa-Core (4×2.3 GHz & 4×1.7 GHz) 64 bit CPU. Both phones feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD.
Talking about the camera, S8 & S8 Plus comes with Dual pixel 12MP of rear camera with f1.7, autofocus, OIS, LED flash and 8MP of front facing camera with f1.7, autofocus and auto HDR. The rear camera is capable of taking videos up to 4K resolution. Along with that, the S8 & S8 plus are powered with 3000mAh & 3500mAh non-removable battery which is embedded with fast charging & wireless charging technology. Both phones come with the wide range of security features like Fingerprint Sensor & Iris Scanner. Unlike previous flagship Galaxy phones like S7 and S7 edge, the fingerprint sensor is shifted on the back near the camera.

Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus is the best phone available in the market right now. Both phones are packed with great specifications and the infinity display in both phones makes it even better. The added security in both phones makes it more secure and the introduction of Samsung’s own AI is a great step but currently, it can only do few things and hope Samsung will launch the full fletched version soon.
In Nepal, we hear a lot about the pricing of the smartphones compared to the international market and Samsung Nepal has made those voice quite by introducing the phone at a price that is even cheaper than the international market. We got the chance to use the phone for a brief moment after the launch event and we loved it. We will soon share our hands on experience with both phones.
