Tecno has launched Tecno Phantom X in Nepal. Mahalaxmi Mobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized dealer of Tecno mobile has unveiled the Phantom X in Nepal. Moreover, Tecno has announced “Phantom” as a successor brand of Tecno. Tecno Phantom X is the first product launched under the Phantom brand in Nepal. Tecno Phantom X Overview:
Design and Display
To begin, Tecno Phantom features a 6.7″ FHD+ SuperAMOLED display with 720 x 1640 pixels resolution and a 90 Hz of refresh rate. The premium has glass and metal. Similarly, the front and the back come with Gorilla Glass 5 protection while the frame is made out of aluminum.
Furthermore, the phone has 163.5 x 73.78 x 8.72 mm dimensions and weighs 201 grams. In addition, the back has a sophisticated rectangular camera cut in the center. Meanwhile, the body has stripes flowing from top to bottom.
Optical Features
The phone has a triple camera configuration on the back with a 50MP primary camera with a large 1/1.3″ sensor. The primary camera is aided by an ultra-wide-angle 8MP and 13MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom. The quad-LED flash supports these cameras.
For selfies and video calls, Tecno Phantom X features a pill-shaped camera cutout on the front. It has a 48MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 105° field view. The dual-LED flashes complement these two front-facing sensors.
Performance and Memory
As for performance, Phantom X features an Helio G95 MediaTek chipset. It has two Cortex-A76 cores (@2.05GHz) and six Cortex-A55 cores (@2.0GHz). Arm’s Mali-G76 MC4 GPU handles the graphics. Moreover, the device has up to 8GB RAM and internal storage up to 256GB. In addition, there is vapor chamber cooling attached to the chipset for thermal management. It helps to keep the device cooler up to 3-5o C.
Software and Connectivity
It executes Android 11-based HiOS on the software front. It supports 4G LTE (dual-band) Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM Radio, and USB Type C for connectivity.

The device comes with a 4700mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Also, the phone can juices up to 70% with a 30-minute charge. It has a biometric fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone within 0.4 seconds. The color option available is Starry Night Blue and Monet Summer.

While many companies are launching a mid-range phone, Tecno PhantomX looks a little too expensive. However, the phone looks quite decent and has good specifications and features.
