The Google Play Console listing shows the front of the upcoming Vivo. Meanwhile, the Vivo V23 Pro will have a Full-HD+ display with an iPhone-style notch, according to reports. And the smartphone will probably available in early January. In this post, we will be going through all the major specs, features, expected price in Nepal, and availability of the Vivo V23 Pro.
What we can expect from the Vivo V23 Pro?
Vivo V23 Pro’s design was also partially shown in the Google Play Console listing. Moreover, Vivo’s upcoming smartphone is said to get a curved display with thin bezels on all four sides. In addition, the listing shows that the smartphone will get an FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels and a pixel density of 400PPI.
Moreover, a pair of selfie cameras are to be in top-notch. Both sides of the phone have a curved screen. Meanwhile, the screen has a built-in fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, it will probably feature a color-changing glass back.
Display:
The display is a 6.56-inch Full HD AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, this display is HDR10+ certified, TÜV Rheinland certified for minimal blue light emission. Moreover, the touch sampling rate of the V23 Pro is 120Hz by default, but it jumps to 240Hz when Game Mode is enabled.
Moving on the phone’s photochromic color-changing back is undoubtedly its most notable feature. Vivo has used a fluorite AG (Anti Glare) glass rear with a layer of crystals on top to achieve this. And depending on how light reaches the phone’s surface, the Sunshine Gold model will change color from gold to a blue/coral green gradient. In addition, an in-display fingerprint sensor is also on this screen. Further, the phone is 7.36mm thick and weighs only 171 grams. As for the color option, it is available in Stardust Black, Sunshine Gold.
Performance:
An octa-core MediaTek MT6893 SoC, for MediaTek Dimensity 1200, as shown in a Geekbench listing last week. Meanwhile, it comes with either 8 or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Furthermore, it comes with an 8GB RAM option.
Additionally, we can find heat dissipation and even a 17,416 mm2 ultra-thin VC (Vapor Chamber) cooling system. Meanwhile, Vivo’s Extended RAM 2.0 technology that allows the phone to use up to 4GB of internal storage as RAM as needed. As previously stated, it runs on Android 12 with Fun touch OS 12 on top, which includes new “Stickers” widgets, a cleaner UI, and a more privacy-focused UX.
Camera:
Another hallmark of Vivo’s V line of smartphones is the cameras. The display’s notch houses two selfie cameras, a 50-megapixel preeminent unit, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide on phones. Meanwhile, Eye-based autofocus is assistance by the selfie camera system. Additionally, there’s the “AI Extreme Night” setting, which, according to Vivo, produces clearer, brighter selfies even in low-light situations. Moreover, the selfie camera can also record 4K selfie videos.
Moving on, the V23 Pro has a triple camera configuration with a 108MP f/1.88 primary sensor on the back. Likewise, it combines with a 2MP macro shooter and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120o Field of View (FoV).

A 4300mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge is in the V23 Pro (wired). Furthermore, it includes a suitable charger, with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, an earphone, and a case, in the box.
As for connectivity, it has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and SA/NSA 5G.
Is V23 Pro identical to the Vivo S12 Pro?
Yes, V23 Pro will inherit most of the specs of the Vivo 12Pro, except for the 108MP primary camera. Meanwhile, the phone will replace it with a 64MP sensor.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo S12 Pro is to have a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera combination, a 50MP + 8MP dual selfie setup, a 4,300mAh battery, and 44W fast charging capability.

Price and Availability
It will be available for pre-booking starting January 5 and will be available from January 13 onwards. Meanwhile, the 8/128GB model of the Vivo V23 Pro costs INR 38,990 in India, while the 12/256GB model costs INR 43,990. If and when the Vivo V23 Pro is released in Nepal, we expect it to start at NPR 71,500.
