Vivo’s most awaited product of the year is finally here, and this time it’s not going anywhere. The flagship Vivo V19 launch got delayed quite a few times in Nepal due to the COVID pandemic, but this time it is here to stay. The V19 joins the list of Vivo products available in the Nepali market, which is followed up by another product in the Y-series, the Y30. So in this article, we’ll look over what we know about the V19, whether it lives up to its hype or not, and the official Vivo V19 price in Nepal.
Vivo V19: The Night Igniter!
Design and Display:
The V19 comes with a 6.44″ HD+ AMOLED display and an overall stylish design. Being the first company to experiment with dual pop-up selfie cameras, Vivo has now also become the first to endorse a dual-camera hole-punch setup.
The design makes bold statements, and the premium build quality speaks for itself. The overall design on the rear is on the minimalist side. The 3D curved glass design has a simple gradient pattern, which is refreshing to see, and many companies are honestly going overboard in terms of flashiness. A rectangular rear camera setup holds the phone’s prized rear lenses.
The phone is protected by Cornering Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides, which gives quite a bit of resistance against scratches and drops. The front screen holds an on-screen fingerprint sensor with pretty fast response times.
Cameras: Ignite the Night
Cameras have always been a significant selling point for Vivo, and the V19 doesn’t look to let go of this in any way. The rear camera setup consists of a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP Wide angle lens, and two 2MP lenses for Macro and Depth sensors, respectively. The cameras are arranged in a linear fashion, which looks pretty appealing in a minimalistic fashion.
The 32MP+8MP front cameras are a total powerhouse as well. The front camera supports group selfies courtesy of the 105-degree field-of-view wide-angle camera. The Super Night Selfie, in particular, is pretty handy. With AI and Face Beauty algorithms in play, pictures shot in low light situations still appear pretty stunning and have a lot less noise.
The V19 cameras support a range of modes, including Ultra-stable Video, Macro, Super Macro, Bokeh, Art Portrait, etc. However, the most prominent one is still the Super Night mode, which Vivo has aggressively marketed the V19 for.

Hardware and Performance:
Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC powers the phone. This is somewhat controversial since it isn’t really an upgrade in the hardware at all. In fact, this is a chipset that many smartphones priced below V19 use. Nevertheless, with an octa-core 10nm chipset with 6x Kryo Silver cores and 2x High-Performance cores, it is still a powerhouse performer.
On the graphics side of the spectrum, the Adreno 616 GPU takes care of all important matters. Copper cooling tubes are used internally to maintain temperature.
On the software side of things, we have the Android 10 with Funtouch UI 10.0 on top. The phone is available in two memory variants: 128GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 8GB RAM.
Battery:
The Vivo V19 ships with a fair 4500mAh battery, and supports the company’s new signature 33W FlashCharge 2.0. According to Vivo’s official promo, it can charge from 0 to 54% in as little as half an hour.
