And it appears that we are going to get the successor of the Poco F3 GT in the first half of 2022. And it’s widely assumed that it will most likely be known as the POCO F4 GT. We’ll find out whether the Redmi K50 is re-branded as the POCO F4 GT on the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

POCO F4 GT Overview:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The upcoming Poco F4 GT receiving its certifications ready before launch, including FCC, IMEI, EEC, and TUV. All of these certifications indicate that the phone will ship with MIUI 13 pre-installed. Similarly, the EEC and TUV certifications disclose POCO branding for the 21121210G device. Meanwhile, the IMEI listing suggests it may be marketed as the POCO F4 GT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rear schematic of the phone indicates that F4 GT will have a square-shaped camera module. Furthermore, a pair of 2,280mAh (rated value) batteries power the smartphone. As a result, the F4 GT will have a total capacity of 4,650mAh battery that supports fast charging. There is also Hi-Res Audio. Similarly, the phone comes with a charging brick, USB-C cable, SIM ejector tool, a protective case, and a Type-C to 3.5mm audio adaptor. It implies the phone will lack a headphone port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to sources, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition<\/a>, which is set to launch in China, has a model number of 21121210C. An assumption has been made it will be marketed as the POCO F4 GT in the global market. The POCO F4 GT with model number 21121210G has received multiple certifications, indicating that it will be released soon. But what made our suspicions valid is rebranded version of China’s Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. If you remember, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, which made its debut in China last year, was renamed the POCO F3 GT on the global market. As a result, we expect the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be re-branded as the POCO F4 GT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the K50 Gaming is expected to come with a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel triple camera unit, as well as a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official release date for the F4 GT has yet to be announced by POCO. However, it is expected to be launched first in India.
