Black Shark launched their new smartphones Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro on 9 June 2022.

Build and Design
Compared to last year’s Black Shark 4 Pro, Black Shark has given a completely new makeover to Shark 5 and 5 Pro. Thick and futuristic-look back with Evangelion and cyberpunk-styled graphics.
Furthermore, a 144Hz OLED for Shark 5/ AMOLED display for Shark 5 Pro that is specifically designed for gamers, the side rail also features two magnetic shoulder buttons which are activated with a physical switch.
Additionally, the new design aesthetic has a fantastic touch with the screw-like flash component.
Performance and Memory
Huge cooling vapor chambers covering 5320mm² of Black Shark 5 Pro. There should not be any problem during intense games with such a setup.
Moreover, the Black Sharks comes with 8GB, 16GB, and 16GB of fast LPDDR5 RAM. Also, storage is split equally between an NVMe SSD and a UFS 3.1.
To boost the read and write speed, Black Shark uses DM Cache technology and a 10-bit panel to contrast ratio 5000000:1 supporting HDR10 for mesmeric content view.
Audio and Battery
The smartphone has two speakers with 1.5cc cavities and 4 microphones, which is dominated by DXOMark,s audio chart with 86 points. The speakers are one on each side which further improves the games with haptic responses.
Moving forward, a high-performance battery of 4650 mAh is supported by a 120W fast charger. It takes about only 15min to get 100% battery but to control the temperature phone takes about 24 mins. Furthermore, there is a feature to bypass the battery while plugged in.

Black Shark 5and 5 Pro Price and Availability
Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro is announced on March 30. It is not yet available in the Nepali market, but pre-orders are now available in China. According to information the expected price of Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro in Nepal will start with NRS 53,550 to NRS 1,05,186 respectively.

Final Thoughts
Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro is a champ for gaming with a top processor and useful modes with retractable triggers. On the other hand, the phone overheats fast with its comes roughness as well when you try to use the phone for everyday purposes.
