Camera Features
As the device is based on camera quality let’s know more about the features of optical. You will get the device with a 1/2-inch 48MP sensor on the inside and better lenses (f/1.9 aperture). The company also claims it can record 360-degree footage at up to 5.7K 30 fps and single-lens videos at up to 4K 30 fps.
You can also shoot 360-degree images at 72 MP and regular photos at 18 MP. Including auto-framing, which automatically brings the subject into focus. A photo animator, which allows you to convert static 360-degree photos into animated videos.
New modes such as Me mode record 60fps slow-motion videos with the digitally removed selfie stick from the scene. Another feature like Loop Recording mode, which turns the device into a dashcam (where the video is continuously recorded while saving it at the last minute). It also accepts exFAT microSD cards up to 1TB.
Additionally, it also comes with FlowState Stabilization, which provides steady video with the help of 6-axis stabilization and its proprietary algorithm, and it offers smoother videos. Followed by Active HDR mode, Timelapse, and TimeShift.

Similar to the previous ones the new action camera has a candy bar shape with a new 2.29-inch touchscreen. Including two new glove-friendly buttons (for accessing the customizable “Quick Menu” and another for switching between 360 and single-lens mode). It is a pocket-size camera with 11.4 x 4.6 x 3.3 cm dimensions and weighs 180 grams. The device also has tempered glass with a waterproof of up to 33 feet of protection.
Battery
It fuels on a 1,800mAh cell with a total runtime of 81 minutes. It juices up in about 90 minutes via a USB-C port. For connectivity, the action camera connects with your smartphone via the Insta 360 app which allows users to edit videos and photos.
