Micromax, a long-forgotten smartphone brand, has made a comeback in India with the IN Note 1 in November 2020. To demonstrate their active participation, Micromax has release the Micromax In Note 2, a successor to the IN Note 1. Meanwhile, Micromax is preparing a comeback in Nepal with the Micromax IN 2b. Although Micromax hadn’t released the IN Note 2’s full specifications, we already had a good idea of what to expect, thanks to teasers it has shared on social media. The IN Note 2 is powered by the Helio G95 SoC and features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a selfie camera punch hole in the center. The back panel of the smartphone sports a “Dazzling Glass surface,” and the camera island is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S21. Design and Display
A short teaser showcasing the design shows the In Note 2, with the punch-hole display, narrow bezels on three sides, and a relatively large chin. Similarly, the IN Note 2 has a “Dazzling Glass finish” on the back panel. Furthermore, the In Note 2 feature an FHD+ resolution screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. Meanwhile, the Micromax In Note 2 is confirmed to arrive with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display.
In terms of optics, you’ll get a quad-camera setup at the rear. A 48MP primary sensor will be joined by a 5MP wide-angle (115° FoV) sensor, 2MP portrait photos, and 2MP macro sensors. Similarly, you will get a 16MP front-facing camera with a punch hole.
Performance and Memory
An octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset supplies power to Micromax In Note 2. It has two Arm Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The In Note 2 is a 4G phone as its silicon cannot support 5G. Meanwhile, the device features a liquid cooling technology. Additionally, the phone comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage (expandable).

The In Note 2 gets a 5,000mAh battery. It comes with a 30W charger that can charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes. Furthermore, the phone has a fingerprint reader (side-mounted) for biometrics. Android 11 (stock) comes pre-installed on the phone in terms of software. As for the color option, it is available in Black and Brown(Oak) shades.

The Micromax In Note 2 was launched in India on January 25, 2022. Meanwhile, the IN Note 2 will be available for purchase starting January 30 for INR 13,400.
