MSI has released two models, the Modern 14 (C12M) and Modern 15 (B12M), in their Modern Series 2022 lineup. The Modern 14 is available in Classic Black, Urban Silver, and Beige Rose, while the Modern 15 comes in Classic Black and Star Blue finishes, making it more suitable for professional settings.
Both laptops have IPS screens with FHD resolution and a 180-degree hinge that allows the display to be flipped and set flat with the Flip-n-Share feature. The frames of the Modern Series (2022) laptops are of high quality and MIL-STD-810 certified.

Performance & Keyboard
It offers two 12th-generation Intel “Alder Lake” CPUs: the Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U. The Core i7-1255U boasts a hybrid 10-core architecture, which provides it with twice the performance of its predecessor.
The Modern 14 C12M and Modern 15 B12M models are equipped with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3200 MHz and an M.2 port for NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD.
Both laptops have a full-size keyboard with white backlighting, and the Modern 15 even includes a separate number pad.
Battery & Other Features
Powering both the laptops is a 3-cell 39.3 and 53.8 Whr batteries, respectively, and can be recharged at a rate of 65 W. They are also equipped with an audio system that includes two 2W speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification.
For the ports, it supports the same on both a MicroSD card reader, an HDMI connection, an audio jack, and four USB ports, with one being a Type-C port that supports DP and PD charging.
