Mac Mini M2 and M2 Pro Overview
Both chip variant has high-performances, unified memory, along with advance connectivity. The M2 model can support up to two displays whereas the M2 Pro model supports three displays.

Performance
As compared to the previous generation Mac Mini, this generation has an M2 and M2 Pro chip. That provides a faster and better CPU and GPU, with higher memory bandwidth, and a more powerful media engine.
Both models feature an advanced thermal system for exceptional sustained performance. While delivering extraordinary performance and industry-leading power efficiency.
Mac Mini M2 has fast performance and productivity which helps the user to do everyday tasks without lags and provides multitasking between apps to browsing the web. It features an 8-core CPU with four high-performance and four high-efficiency cores, along with a 10-core GPU.
Comparing the mini M2 with the previous generation mini M1, the mac mini M2 has almost 2.4X faster ProRes transcode in Final Cut Pro with 50 percent faster filter and function performance in Adobe Photoshop and 35 percent faster gameplay in Resident Evil Village.
The M2 Pro has a pro-level performance while featuring up to a 12-core CPU with eight high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, along with up to a 19-core GPU, M2 Pro has 200GB/s of memory bandwidth.
While comparing M2 Pro with the previous generation M1, it has up to 2.5x faster graphics performance in Affinity Photo with 4.2x faster ProRes transcode in Final Cut Pro and 2.8x faster gameplay in Resident Evil Village.
Connectivity
Nevertheless, it offers Two Thunderbolt 4 connections, and compatibility for up to two screens is provided by the M2 variant. The M2 Pro model supports up to three screens and has four Thunderbolt 4 connections.
The M2 Pro variant can also handle one 8K monitor, which is a first for the Mac. Both variants have a Gigabit Ethernet connector with a 10GB option, an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and an improved headphone jack that supports high-impedance headphones.
